I've read everywhere that green is the color of 2013, but I'm currently obsessed with pink. I thrifted this vintage dress a while ago, and although I must admit it reminds me of a pepto-bismol bottle I am in love with my pink dress now. All I did for this refashion was cut the sleeves to 3/4, take in on the sleeves, shortened the length, lowered the neckline and added a collar and a lace bow.
Before
Looks more lavender in the before picture because of the different camera and flash.
After
Wore it to church with my vintage purse.
Bracelets: thrifted & gift from friend
Shoes: Zara

Oh my goodness, girl. You made that dress look amazing. Love it!
I had to laugh at how you wrote "all I did" and then listed all of the alterations... you put so much work into this and the results turned out AMAZING!! Really really inspiring; makes me want to go through my 'to alter' pile and get to work :)

I need to know more about the collar! Is it detachable? I'm thinking that if I catch up with your blog I'll get more info!

No it's not detachable this time, I made it from curtain material scraps I had in my house. =)
