Sunday Best: Jumper Dress Refashion

I have been wanting a corduroy jumper dress for a long time, they are great for layering in the winter and they are comfortable to wear to work. I was inspired by these looks on the runway and I found one on pinterest. I thought about buying it but the more I looked at it the more I thought I could recreate it.

So I went to the thrift store and I thrifted this navy blue shift dress. It's not corduroy but it's the color I wanted and it's washable. All I did was take in on the sides to make it more of an A-line shape, I shortened it, added 2 pockets and the top detail. I am very pleased with this refashion, here are the before and after pictures.

Wonderful recreation. I love how you styled it with plaid and dark tights!

Cute that you added the pockets, I wouldn't have thought of that.
