Today was laundry day, I love doing the laundry but I had to go to the laundromat to dry my clothes because my dryer stopped working (bummer), I need to find a repairman soon. Yesterday I did some sewing alterations on 2 skirts, I'll show you soon. This is what I wore to church today, the lace "skirt" is actually 3 layered slips and my "shirt" is one of those vintage collars that you tuck in under sweaters, but no one knew that, except now you.

Hi ladies! Today my friend is coming over to my house so that we can do a bit of sewing, I'll probably get a refashion done for tomorrow, I'm crossing my fingers on that. I haven't been quite productive in the sewing department, but I do have a pile of clothes I want to work on before the last days of winter are gone. I had a really good day at work, nothing especial, I was just in very good mood today. It was also a beautiful day outside so my kids and I enjoyed recess time. We've been writing a lot in class these days, there is nothing I love more than teaching children how to read and write. I love the way they misspell words, sometimes I have to decipher their sentences like a secret code. I love their smiles when I reassure them that they are doing a great job.  Anyway, this is what I wore to work today, with the temperatures rising it is starting to feel a lot like Spring.

Hello buddy bloggers! I took short break from blogging, sometimes life and responsibilities take over and you need a break, I'm sure you all know how that is. The other day my brother-in-law mentioned that he had found my blog by accident, while he was searching for some pictures of my hometown on Google. I laughed shyly about it, because I don't usually tell anyone I know about my blog, except my sister and my mom, so that was funny. I hope everyone has a delightful weekend!

Hi everyone! So yesterday we went to TJ Maxx and just as I was going to grab a handbag the electricity went down, this was around 7 p.m. so it was very dark in there, everybody turned the phones on for light and one by one we were let out of the store, too bad I didn't even get to buy my bag, or maybe it was a good thing hehe. Plans for today include pizza with friends to watch the Superbowl. I'm totally not a fan of football, or any other sport, but I like chillin' out with friends. Hope everyone has a fun Sunday.
