Quirky Pins

One of the great things about being a teacher, aside from the children, is getting a Thanksgiving break. I don't have many plans for my week off, but I'm definitely going to enjoy it. This is what I wore to work, I just noticed I have a lot of quirky pins. I got this one from Etsy, the cat is so soft and furry, just like a real cat, he kinda looks like my cat Jingles.

Vintage velvet blazer: thrifted
Cashmere sweater: thrifted
Skirt: thrifted
Vintage collar: flea market
Vintage Ferragamo shoes: Etsy
Vintage cat pin: Etsy

I love all your pins, of course! That skirt and sweater were made for each other, and the other elements of your outfit made me take a second then a third look! :o)

Too cute! I'll be the kids go nuts over that kitty! Do you get a whole week off? I don't understand why they have school clear up until Wednesday here. I'm guessing half the kids miss school because they're traveling anyhow.

The pins is a great addition to the outfit, even if it's quirky. Pins, in my opinion, are an obsolete accessory that I wish would come back into 'style.'

Shey, I love all your pins & brooches and how you style them. I have a collection myself and display some of them in different places in my house, just so I can enjoy looking at them. Your cat pin is delightful and so is the neat pin in your Nov. 15th post.
