Altered: Purple Polka Dot Dress

Hi ladies! Today the temperature cooled down enough to wear my purple (polyester) dress. I thrifted this 70's dress during the summer and I loved the 50's vibe but those sleeves were ruining it. All I did was take in on the sleeves and shorten them to be 3/4 length. Sometimes small alterations make a whole lot of difference. I wore it with a peter pan collar and pinned a black bow, easy peasy. Here are the before and after pictures.

Shea....I don't know how you do this; you have a vision and you make it happen with your outfits. I love this.
The color is so rich, and taking in the sleeves made it look retro but with a contemporary feel. The bow, collar, belt and boots really make it perfect.

I LOVE the bow and collar.
