Uno, dos, tres

Happy Friday everyone! These are some of my outfits from the week, hope everyone has a great weekend!
Tuesday
I love my alphabet tights, they are the perfect accessory for teachers. I got lots of compliments from students.
Shirt: Gap
Tartan skirt: thrifted
Alphabet tights: eBay
Shoes: Salvatore Ferragamo/ eBay

Wednesday
I love this sweater, I thrifted it new; whoever gave away such a nice sweater: thank you! It was a bit pricey ($15) for being thrifted but I would have paid full price for it at a store so it was still a bargain.
Shirt: J. Crew
Faux pearls: gift from friend
Skirt: Anthropologie
Shoes: Talbots/ thrifted new

 Friday
I've been seeing a lot of door knocker bracelets, so when I saw this vintage one on eBay I knew I wanted it. It's a one of a kind statement piece.
(My manly hand ^_^)
Top: F21
Belt: Gap/ thrifted
Skirt: J. Crew/ shortened by me
Shoes: ModCloth
Vintage cuff bracelet: R.J. Graziano/ eBay

Just wanted to say that I enjoy your blog. I'm approaching 30 and am trying to figure out how to buy clothes that are classy and age appropriate, but not boring - so I appreciate the inspiration!

I really like all three outfits. I especially love the door knocker bracelet!

Your style is all your own and it suits you so well.

I loved to read your comment, and it made me happy that you don't see this problem too much! I think it's not true for all fields, but in my opinion, it's definitely still a problem at the university. I don't know how it is in the USA, but in Germany, I'd say 90% of the professors are still men... And to be a woman and to work in research/the academic area can really be very difficult...

You look awesome in every picture, as always. :) I feel bad I haven't had time for blogging recently, but I am glad that you got our package in the mail! The bird necklace has been making me think of you for a while - I'd see it in my jewelry box and I'd immediately think of you for some reason. So I hope you like it and the other stuff, too! :) Have a great weekend!
