Sunday Best: Little Updates

When I made this skirt I thought about wearing it with a lace slip under it, however the slip never stayed in place and it peeked out unevenly. Then I decided to wear it without the slip but it looked a lot like TinkerBell's skirt (not the look I was going for). Last night I decided to tweak the skirt a little, what I did was stitch some vintage lace to the hem. Now it looks much better and the lace stays in place. Little updates make a big difference.

I was hesitant about you adding lace to the hem because it might make the skirt look too little girlish. I am happy to say the lace is a nice touch. You could even have used a lace in the green family to make the lace look like an original component of the skirt. In any case, nice update to an already cute skirt.
