This week my son is off to his first mission trip, I'm very excited for him. Now that he's gone I can't help but notice how quiet the house is without him. Every time I walk by his room I'm surprised that his room is still clean! At first I was kind of sad that he left, but I know he's going to have an amazing experience. I'm also happy to get a break from one of the hardest, but most amazing jobs there is, which is being a mom. Hope everyone has a great week!

I know how hard it is sometimes to let your children fly from the nest once in awhile to do something good. I'm sure this trip will be a wonderful life experience for your son!

I'm sure your son misses you just as much as you miss him. It's always great to get some time off to rest and relax and I hope you take this time to do so. I was able to get some R&R last weekend while I vacationed in Florida and it was so so nice!
