This morning when I yielded the right of way to a vehicle on the road, the driver waved to say thanks. I like when people do that. However, I get annoyed when people don't wave to say thanks =P, it's almost as annoying as when you hold the door for someone and then that person completely passes you by and ignores you. Do you have any pet peeves? This is what I wore to work today. I really need to start looking at the camera.

Shey, I'm with you! I think sometimes we all need to be reminded that it's PEOPLE behind the car wheel, or computer screen or cash register. It's amazing how good just getting a smile will make you feel! Hugs! ~Serene

I hate when people don't acknowledge me when I hold a door open; and customers who talk on their phones, totally ignoring the cashier but still expecting to be served!
I love it when people hold doors, especially if it's very deliberate and not just they happen to be in front of you.
One of my pet peeves sounds really silly, but I hate it when people send you an email with nothing in the body but 'thank you' especially if it's in response to a previous email where they had already signed off with a preemptive thank you.
Just feels like a waste of an email, because I love it when I see one in my inbox, and there is a let down when there is nothing to read but 'thanks'
I think we have the same pet peeves I can't stand when someone doesn't say thank you, excuse me or please. I just can't imagine why basic manners are hard for some people.

I do a lot of sewing for my granddaughters and one time my SIL took his daughter to the nursery during church... her teacher told him she loves it when his DD comes because she is always wearing something different.... never the same thing! Ahem... not quite sooo; he told our DD that their daughter has wayyy to many clothes if this is the case! LoL.... anyway. I enjoy reading your blog. And I too enjoy when people wave their thanks! Makes you feel like there are still people out there with good manners hmmmm!
