The sleep-walker who tailored her shirt

Yesterday after I posted on the blog I took a two hour nap, I was so exhausted I fell asleep fast. When I woke up I had a weird feeling, I kind of remembered hearing voices in my sleep, trying to get up, seeing my son in the living room and telling him something (I remember talking but I don't remember what I said) and then getting comfy in bed. However, I do not remember getting up, walking to the living room and walking back to my bed and laying down again. I asked my son if I had been there, just to make sure I hadn't been dreaming and he confirmed I was there! It's such a weird feeling, I hope it doesn't happen again!
On another subject, I wanted to show you this men's rugby shirt I thrifted last year. The fit of the sleeves and the chest were a bit baggy and it was too long. This weekend I tailored it to fit better, you can't see in the before picture but I had to tuck it in so that it wouldn't look so long.
Before
What I did
I marked how much I needed to take in on both sides, then pinned and sewed. I also shortened the length of the shirt, but it's not pictured here. Then I cut the excess fabric.
 After
It fits much better, specially on the sleeves and I don't have to tuck it in anymore, I wore to work today.
Rugby shirt: thrifted & tailored by me
Gingham Shirt: thrifted & tailored by me (the same way)
Necklace: Vintage
Skirt: Anthropologie
Shoes: thrifted

Yikes! You must get more sleep, dear! No more sleepwalking!

Under normal circumstances, that shirt would be very Harry Potter meets Abercrombie and Fitch but once again, you pull it off!
