The other day after I put my shower curtain in the dryer I noticed it shrunk. Who knew shower curtains could shrink? The short curtain looked pitiful, so I added some vintage fabric and ribbon to lengthen it. I liked the end result, the new curtain makes my tiny, dark bathroom look a bit brighter. All I did was cut off the top part of the shower curtain and sewed in the fabric, then I topped it with yellow ribbon. My childhood neighbor gave me the idea, she always had things around her house that she had revamped with ribbon, lace and fabric. I don't have before pictures because I hadn't planned on shrinking my curtain but you get the idea. ^_^
I also hand-stiched little bows.
Hope you liked this mini tutorial!

Love this! You are so creative, Shey!
You amaze me! I need to wash the curtain in the spare bathroom. Thank you for reminding me!
this is so cute! Love it!
I love how you put the colorful fabric at the top. Draws the eye up and it's unexpected. Nice touch with the ribbon and bows!
