Rain or Shine

Hi there buddy bloggers! I'm back, sorry for not updating sooner. I guess I was bored and tired of my Fall/Winter clothes but during Spring break I managed to switch my closet to Spring clothes. Today we returned to school after our Spring break, it was nice to see my little ones again, some of them grew taller over the break. This is what I wore to work today, it was very windy, not a good season to wear full skirts where I live (tornado season) but I'm not giving up just yet.
Cardigan: New York & Co. (2011)
Top: TJ Maxx
Skirt: Gap/ thrifted
Shoes: TJ Maxx (2010)
Bag: TJ Maxx (2012)
Belt & necklace: Vintage

I want to thank and welcome all the new wonderful followers. Also, thank you all for taking the time to leave such nice and encouraging comments. ^_^

I always check in to see what you're wearing (but never comment.) I was worried! I'm glad you're back. :) I'm sorry if that seems creepy! I'm not though, promise.

You look great in your lovely spring colors! I remember those gold belts. I loved the way the pieces moved when you picked it up. It looks great with your outfit.

So glad to see you back Shey, I missed you and your cute outfits, I figured you were taking a break. And as usual, you look great and very springy. I also like that you put the dates on the individual items of clothing. I started a journal of all the clothes I own by category, then color, brand, date bought and price. It is interesting to see what I have already donated and bought. I thought this would help me be a more careful shopper and to keep track how long I actually keep clothes and the price.

I am so glad you are back! Your blog is in my "Daily" file, which I read first thing every morning. I switched my wardrobe from winter to summer, too, but I am afraid it was too early.

Blogging breaks are good, but I missed seeing your posts! :-) Your outfit is so lovely, I love the soft color palette (yellow is one of my favorite colors!) with the bright pop of green in your bag. So pretty! :-)

Hey Shey, good to have you back! :) I feel like blogging breaks come in handy at times, sometimes you just need to take a step back from posting, and it will feel fresh again in a little while.

And what a way to come back... you look beautiful. I love how your lipstick matches your shoes! So pretty!

Missed you, too! This outfit is very lovely on you. The sweater ends at a good place (a little longer than some others). The colors look very soft and feminine on you. Having lived in California almost all of my life, I just cannot fathom having to deal with tornados! We get earthquakes, but those don't last long (yes, I've lived through several big earthquakes).
