Yesterday my students were thrilled to spy some earthworms on the ground. Children were chasing each other with the earthworms wrapped around their fingers. After recess I laid down the law: Do not take earthworms, or what's left of them, inside. You know, because in kindergarten you have to be specific like that. ^_^ We went inside and at the end of the day a little girl tattled on "Curly", it went something like this:
Girl: Teacher! Curly has an earthworm in his locker!!!
Me: Curly...do you have an earthworm in your locker?
Curly: No... (followed by guilty look)
Me: Curly tell me the truth...(giving him the teacher look)
Curly: OK, I do, but it's dead...
Me: Pretending to be speechless
Curly: but it got stuck in my jacket's pocket so I couldn't leave him behind!
Poor little creepers I hope they stay out of the sight of my kiddos or else their lives will be cut short by my students uncontrollably hard grip. This is what I wore to fork today. ^_^

My children are always accidentally killing their bug friends. You sound like you're a lovely teacher.
I remember that skirt and I LOVE it!
Really like the stripes with the floral. Now I need a striped jacket, or maybe a striped skirt. Cute!
Love that skirt and you are just darling in that outfit.
