Today was laundry day, I love doing the laundry but I had to go to the laundromat to dry my clothes because my dryer stopped working (bummer), I need to find a repairman soon. Yesterday I did some sewing alterations on 2 skirts, I'll show you soon. This is what I wore to church today, the lace "skirt" is actually 3 layered slips and my "shirt" is one of those vintage collars that you tuck in under sweaters, but no one knew that, except now you.
Collar: vintage
Jacket: Loft (old)
Skirt: layered slips
Bow seamed tights: Asos
Shoes: DSW (old)
Watch: Amazon
Croc bag: Vintage
Scarf: vintage

I love your outfit today, Shey! The jacket looks great on you and you have styled it so cutely.
I have to ask did you get a new bedspread? It's so pretty. And I noticed the dolls on the headboard. I collect dolls. Would you mind telling me what kind they are. I can just, almost see them.
I just love your frilly "skirt" and that collar is so fun - i would have never known!
(maybe that's j.crew's dirty little secret on how they get so many layers on their models!)
Love the vintage purse with the scarf! So cute.
Thank you ladies!
Hi Dawn! My quilt is the same, it has two sides so I just turned it on the other face of the quilt. ^_^
The dolls are vintage, I bought them at a garage sale, they are 1978 Vogue Dolls (they have that engraved on their back ). =)
Our dryer just broke too and my husband replaced the parts for under 50 (that was with next day delivery as we were going out of town) a friend told him that the thing that usually breaks is the thermometer and that is cheap to replace. We didn't have to pay the repairmen an arm and a leg either! Good LUCK!
Awwww..you look so beautiful! I love how the whole outfit came together. Absolutely stunning! :)
I love what you did with the slips! That skirt is gorgeous!!! Hugs! ~ Serene
