Sunday Best: Green & Black

Hi everyone! So yesterday we went to TJ Maxx and just as I was going to grab a handbag the electricity went down, this was around 7 p.m. so it was very dark in there, everybody turned the phones on for light and one by one we were let out of the store, too bad I didn't even get to buy my bag, or maybe it was a good thing hehe. Plans for today include pizza with friends to watch the Superbowl. I'm totally not a fan of football, or any other sport, but I like chillin' out with friends. Hope everyone has a fun Sunday.

Great outfit, as always! I'm trying to avoid watching the Superbowl - I personally find American football too slow and a little tedious to watch. I am starting to understand that the Superbowl is more about the social gathering than anything else, though. Still, I'm staying at home today. :)I hope you have a great Sunday!

Thanks Waves, I agree with you of football, in fact I don't like to sit in front of a t.v. for a long time, unless we are watching movies but there will be some games, we'll see how it goes. =)

It was our IRB SEvens weekend this weekend (Basically two days of rugby in wellington whereby everyone dresses up in fancy dress and gets silly drunk while watching the games) - i personally hate it when people are THAT drunk, but my husband went for an evening and had a great time...dressed as a pirate. That is such a beautiful belt! i have a question, do you ever wear flats? i would love to wear my heeled booties and maryjanes more often but my lifestyle requires me to be walking around alot in areas where those shoes aren't practical. Enjoy your day lovely!

That is too funny! Being let out one by one of the TJ Max. : ) I love what you wore today. Have fun at your super bowl party. I am not going to even turn it on... : )

Ok. Wait for it. Here it comes.....I'VE NEVER SEEN THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!! Le sigh.

I grew up without a T.V., I still don't have a T.V., and my Sunday mornings were/are spent at church, taking a nap, and back to p.m. church. As a kid I remember the men always getting up for restroom breaks during church on Super Bowl Sunday. It finally donned on me when I was 9 years old that they were leaving church to go check the scores on their car radios. LOL

BOOOOO on the electricity going out, but yahoo for saving money (I guessss...! LOL).

Have a good week, Shey!

Cute outfit! That green color is really beautiful on you. I like what you've done with your accesories to add interest to this simple outift. You look so much lovelier than most of the people I saw going to watch the Superbowl!

I really like your blog's premise and your "refashions." It's so nice to give a new life to old clothing!

I like your green and black - i've definitely been craving green lately.

And you should probably just go back for the purse tomorrow.
