Roses for Tuesday

I had a really good day at work, nothing especial, I was just in very good mood today. It was also a beautiful day outside so my kids and I enjoyed recess time. We've been writing a lot in class these days, there is nothing I love more than teaching children how to read and write. I love the way they misspell words, sometimes I have to decipher their sentences like a secret code. I love their smiles when I reassure them that they are doing a great job.  Anyway, this is what I wore to work today, with the temperatures rising it is starting to feel a lot like Spring.

A lot of colors look really lovely on you. Today's rose, green top and mustard tops from other posts, the red coat, and black outfits are just a few among many that highlight your beauty. I personally think the long silhouette looks best on you, such as a dress which isn't tucked in at the waist, your red coat, etc. Those garments give you a more sleeker and longer look. The skirts with blouses tucked in at the waist are also nice, but I prefer the former better.

Thanks so much for the hones comment, I do realize that full skirts are not very flattering but I love them, I agree with you on the longer garments look better too. =)

Oh, I love your skirt and your necklace. The neutral combination with splashes of burgundy is fabulous!

I love that your wearing red lips more often.

The fullness isn't the issue at all and, in fact, looks very nice on you. A line dresses, skirts, and your coats are very lovely and flattering on your figure. What I meant was tucking in your blouses/shirts or belting at the waist -- it cuts your silhouette in half at the wrong point.

I enjoy your blog and seeing you bringing life to previously owned garments! You have a gift for making thrifting an art.
