Although this is not a refashion post per se, I wanted to show you what tailoring can do to clothes. I bought this coat for $1.75 at the thrift store outlet, however it was very long, and long coats can make you look shorter. I loved the shape of the coat, the color and the collar so it came home with me. After a good dry clean it hanged in my closet for more than a year, I almost re-donated it again! My mom helped me measure the length of the coat and I cut it, hemmed it and did the same for the lining.

I haven't forgotten the tutorials I said I was going to do, definitely on my to do list, however this is the last week of school before the Winter break so I am very busy, once I'm on vacation I will do the tutorials.
