Sunday Best: Mushroom Skirt Refashion

Last night I started working on this skirt while we watched a movie, I think it's the best time to refashion because I get to watch a movie and relax as I stitch away, the mushroom and the hem took a while since I did it by hand, but it was worth it, there is nothing I dislike more than an ill-made refashion. I also sewed a new waistline because the original one was too tight on me. I love how how cute the skirt came out, I hadn't thought about adding the mushroom till the last moment, I was thinking of the Smurfs cartoon that I used to love watching when I was little.
Before
I made the mushroom from scraps and fabric markers.
After
This is how I wore it today.
Cardigan: TJ Maxx
Tank top: thrifted
Necklace: thrifted
Belt: Clarie's / old
Tights: Target
Shoes: DSW
Lipstick: Really Red by Revlon
Have a great day everybody!

the skirt is adorable - you always do such a great job on your refashions!

I always find that I can't watch a movie and do something else... I will only pay attention to the movie, haha.

Nice mushroom, perfect for you ^_^ I also want to learn to do something else while watching a movie. I hope I will also be able to do that when I become a mom.
