Hi pretty ladies! Today I brought you a last refashion for now, my son and I will be going on vacation to Puebla, Mexico for 3 weeks (that's where I grew up). I'm very excited and in much need of some fun with friends and family. One of the things I'm mostly excited about is the beautiful cold weather, I'm cold natured and this heat in Texas is unbearable. My cousin told me it's raining a lot and it's cold, so I'll be packing my rain boots and a coat. I didn't leave any pre-typed posts or guest blogger posts, I don't like those, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to post as frequent since I'm going to be traveling a lot and many times without internet. But I'll be back with pictures of the beautiful mountains and small towns. Ok now let's go on to the refashion, I bought this dress at Goodwill for $4.99 because I liked the print.
I was inspired by this Anthropologie Goldfield Skirt
So I made my own...
And this is how I'm wearing it.
Shirt: Talbots/ thrifted
Necklace: vintage/ thrifted
Belt: F21
Skirt: Refashioned by me
Shoes: Antonio Melani/ old
Dark Circles: c/o Ulises <3
I will "see" you all when I'm back!

Your skirt turned out great! Good eye for spotting the look-a-like fabric in the dress.

Wow! This is spot on. The pattern, shape and waistband is very reminiscent of the Goldfield Skirt. Nice job!

Hi Shey,
That is a great looking skirt, you are so clever to make some great fabric it over into something that you will like and wear.
