Refashion: from white to blue

Hey there ladies! Today I did a refashion on this old white t-shirt. This summer I want to make it a challenge to wear more color up top, I love my white tops but I need some color. This was a fast refashion, except for the rosettes, they were a bit time-consuming to sew.
I used two old tees, one to make the rosettes.
I cut about 1 inch strips from the other tee and coiled them and pinned them in place.
I kind of liked the white version but I need color and not another white shirt. I had this Rye dye in royal blue.
Here's the result. I'm pretty pleased with the color, I was afraid it was going to be too dark.
And here's how I'm wearing it.
My eyes look different because I've been using eye-liner, I'm not used to it but I like how it brings out my eyes.
Skirt: thrifted & refashioned my me
Belt: vintage/ thrifted
Necklace: F21
Brass bangle: vintage/ thrifted
Shoes: Metro7/ thrifted

What a fantastic idea - and rosettes lift the t-shirt into a much more dressy top.

I love the t-shirt, your flowers on it look wonderful. When I make those flowers they never look that great! Which tutorial did you follow? Or did you even follow one?
The skirt is darling.
Hugs, Cindy
