Today I volunteered to be with the babies in the nursery at church. I was expecting little babies but they put me in the 18 month-old room instead. It wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be, maybe because they're not yet talking but I did have a little girl fall asleep in my arms and she made up for the boring morning. I love when little ones fall asleep in my arms, she just hugged me and fell asleep immediately. I decided to wear something comfortable and no jewelry that they could pull off. Oh and I'm sure glad I wore a dark bottom, one lady wore white jeans and a little girl had a poopy leak on her jeans! She handled it with grace though, so I learned a lesson. After church my son and I stopped by 7 eleven for a coke and a hot dog, those things are addictive.

Pretty, classic outfit.
At our church the nursery is a kind of assignment for an extended length of time and while it can be fun for a while, eventually it gets a little old wiping noses and trying to figure out which child smells. It definitely made me appreciate those who took the time to watch my kids while I went to Sunday School. ;)
I love the crisp white shirt, the clean lines of the pencil skirt (you so need to wear more pencil skirts!) and the perfect pop of color with the red shoe.
I agree- what a lovely outfit! I especially like that you incorporated Memorial Day colors but were still totally church appropriate. The bow is such a fun, practical alternative to necklaces... without the risk of being strangled. :)
Oh, you're so nice to help with the toddlers! Love the red flats!
Oh I love the shirt! I need a shirt with a gorgeous tie like yours.
I agree with Lyddie. I like the crisp white shirt and how it is a stark contrast to the navy blue. Perfect. Simple. I love it.
