Dear ladies, my life has been a roller coaster for the past few days, last night as I prayed it really hit me about what it means to give thanks not only for the good things that happen in life but for the bad ones as well. I'm so glad to tell you that things turned out well. Today is Friday and everyone is wearing jeans at school and here am I with heels and a dress, I had a conference at my son's school and I wanted to look presentable so I wore this dress. Everything went well, I even gave a hug to the assistant principal and I wanted to jump out of excitement, of course I praised God on my way to work. Here is what I wore, the pictures are dark because it's going to be a rainy day, I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Homemade 60's dress: thrifted

I am not usually a fan of purple but the print on that dress is fabulous!
We were meant to be - I'm wearing purple and red today too! Thank you for dressing modestly and making it look beautiful!
You look amazing.
I am glad the conference went well : )
First off, you look gorgeous - great pairing of purple and red.
Second, your reminder to be thankful in everything couldn't have come at a better time for me. I really needed to remember that. We'll see how well I do in the practice part.... ;)
Thank you all! And it's not polyester it's cotton! The bust is a bit big but it's not noticeable thanks to the print. I love the floral print and the color. =D
I think you've been wearing your hair down more often (or maybe I'm just noticing it more) but it's a great length and looks so pretty!
So cute! I love purple and red! What's the name of that purple purse book? I love your red heels. I'm so glad you had a happy conference!
Very nice! I agree with FutureLint, I'm not normally a fan of purple and red together because it can look so Red Hat Society, but I LOVE this! Glad to hear things went well too!
Hi Shey,
That is a beautiful dress, I love the fabric!
Hugs, Cindy
Such a gorgeous print, and I absolutely LOVE the color :)
