From salmon to coral red

Hi ladies! Somehow I always do my before pictures with sneakers and this Runner t-shirt (my gym outfit hehe). This skirt was salmon, still is since I have 2, but I wanted a red one so I bought the dye and dyed it last weekend, however because I was impatient I didn't wait 60 minutes stirring the skirt in the dye, instead I took it out after 45 minutes, it looks red in the picture but it real life it's more of a coral reddish color, not scarlet red. I wore these sky high sandals to work again and it wasn't a good idea, I spent the whole day on my feet and I had to walk through a playground full of rocks, I almost lost my balance.
Before
After
Today is Mexican's Mother's Day so Feliz Dia de las Madres! Ain't I lucky? I get to celebrate twice and I got two very nice gifts from my students.

I am in love with the drapey top, and the color of that skirt is so pretty and springy. This outfit might not have been practical, but it sure is pretty. ¡Feliz Día de las Madres!

Gracias amigas! Actually the outfit was fine, the only thing where the heels, I still don't know how to walk in platform shoes that well and since I spent the whole day testing I was tired by the end of the day. Tomorrow it's back to my trusty flats. =)

Happy Mother's Day!!! I love your salmon skirt, but the red one is really gorgeous! I enjoy wearing skirts that are wide like yours.

I like the new colour (it really looks coral on my screen), and the flowing silhouette of the shirt and skirt, interruptet by the belt, looks great on you!

By the way, I'm stunned at all the beautiful necklaces you found! Thrift stores are still rare in my country, but I hope that will change over time. The concept makes sense, you probably save more money than by looking for second-hand clothes on ebay (my only alternative at the moment) and I'd love to find such things!

How lovely! Being impatient when crafting is definitely one of my problems. I'm trying to be more patient, I promise!

Oh la!! Love the new shade!
Do you find that things you've dyed wash well? I feel I get fading issues.

The colour of that skirt is beautiful, I've never tried dying clothes before, but now I'm tempted! xxx

Good job with the dye! I always have grand plans to dye some items of clothing and I never get to them. Sad, no? ;) I'm just too lazy!

Overall, too, your outfit is stunning. I love the blouse, it looks so nice on you. And the belt and the shoes are awesome, too. And I do love that necklace!

Happy Mother's day, again!

I love the skirt. I think I would have to dye some of my old clothes, too. I've realized I've got too many neutral colored clothes. I now want to wear flashy outfits so I need to change their colors instead of buying new ones. Thank you very much for the idea!
