Lavender and vanilla

They say scent has an effect on behavior, I read it in a classroom management book long time ago, cinammon scented deodorizers can make students a bit too active (hyper), lavender can make them feel relaxed and sleepy, vanilla feels like home. I always make sure my classroom looks like a happy place with lots of bright colors and it smells like vanilla to make it a nice place to be in. No one likes to be in a classroom where all you can smell are sweaty armpits, especially after a hard workout in P.E. Anyways today I wore this thrifted lavender skirt from Anthropologie, I got plenty of compliments from my little girls and since we did letter necklaces and they were too cute I decided to make one for me.
Necklace made by me, letters traced and cut out by my student.
 Everything is thrifted!
Comment of the day from one of my sweet students: "If you keep being bad Santa Claus is going to bring you a Jalapeno for Christmas."
