Hey lovely ladies I'm back! This week I had a little challenge of my own, I've never followed a wardrobe challenge, I just can't commit to wear a few pieces all the time. I was excited to find out that Kendi is having one of those 30X30 days challenge, I might follow it this time...maybe. For now my little challenge was a secret just in case I could not follow through with it. I remixed this skirt in 4 ways, 4 days. I was going to wear it tomorrow again but...it's reached it's limit and it needs to be washed. I'm very clean and I change clothes as soon as I get home from work but I just can't make myself iron it and wear it again tomorrow without washing it, it's handwash and it's freezing so it won't get dry in time.
Tuesday
This was my outfit to go back to work, I had to change the shoes for my brown tall boots, and I realized that I really need a black pair of rinding boots.
Wednesday
This was my favorite outfit of all, totally unexpected and unplanned, I just grabbed the shirt because I had not worn it in a long time, I kept warm by adding a layer of warm socks over my sweater tights but then again the weather had not been very cold. I also liked how the elastic belt accentuated my waist (thrifted it last week).
Thursday
This was today's outfit, the best part about this outfit was my vintage brass bracelet, first one in a long time too, and my love for these boots was reborn. I got these vintage Etienne Agnier boots at a thrift store last winter for $30 bucks. They are definitely one of my best finds ever. I love the color and that they are pull-on boots, the shape is also perfect.
For tomorrow I might just wear this again. I wore jeans to work last Friday. My friends were so funny, they had not seen me in jeans in years so they made a big deal about it. I must say I still prefer skirts over jeans. I took this picture after work, that's why the tired face and and the unruly hair which had been curled and looked very nice in the morning.
I feel very happy to have and follow my own convitions about the way I dress while keeping it modest and happy to know that my relationship with Christ has not been affected by these changes. =)

That skirt is SO great : ) Love it! You look very young in jeans. Like you are ten : ) I still love you though. Totally LOVE that long white shirt. Cute as can be.
You are beautiful!
Just heard the most fabulous song at Kelle Hamptons blog: You and I by Ingrid Michaelson. Go listen!
Happy Friday Shey!
I also prefer skirts over jeans because they are so much more comfortable. I love how your hair is done on the Tuesday and Wednesday pictures!

Oh my gosh, pants! and chucks! and you look totally adorable.
your skirt remixing is great; proving you don't need 10 different black skirts when you've got one good one.
I think tuesday is my fave.
Chic on the Cheap
My favorite one is Tuesday. =) Oh, and I love that you have taken a stand for modesty. It's difficult finding fellow sisters who actually strive for modesty as well. God is happy with you I'm sure :) [i admit that the last picture of you in jeans made me do a double take] I grew up dressing very modestly. And sometimes it almost makes me blush what girls wear. Leggings for pants? Really? I wish we could go back to the '50s. Fashion blogging has helped me to wear skirts more often. I go in spurts of always wearing skirts or jeans.
Ohh, I love this post! I love all the outfits but Wednesday is my most favorite too. The beret suit you so well!

I can never commit to those wardrobe challenges either - forcing myself to wear something when I'm just not feeling it that day just ruins my whole day! I like the little skirt challenge - all the days have such a different vibe! I don't think I've ever seen you in jeans before! They're a great cut and I love the classic Converse with them!
I think the pants you are wearing aren't tight, so they are modest in my opinion :) Some women don't wear pants though because they believe the bible says that women should wear skirts. I know that I could go on about this topic because I have talked to a fellow Christian about this, but I don't ever diss someone from trying to follow the bible even if their interpretation is different than mine. All I know that is if men aren't staring at my legs or my butt, then the pants I am wearing aren't really making them stumble with their minds... and that satisfies keeping sexuality pure outside marriage.
Anyway, lovely mixes! :) I especially like the second outfit! Also, ah, I didn't like dodgeball when I was in school!!! I'm sorry you had to go through it. I prefer volleyball a lot more.
You are super adorable in jeans! I am happy for you that you recognise that your relationship with Christ is quite seperate from your relationship with your clothes.
Tuesday and Wednesday's outfits are great.
Thank you ladies for your honest and kind comments. I will try and reciprocate the comments on your blogs I think that's the best way to answer. =)
I really love the second outfit! Really cute. :)
REMIX! I remix often; I need to show proof on my blog!
