Hi ladies, I'm back! Today I wore the most amazing coat ever, I bought it at the thrift store for $30 bucks two months ago but I hadn't wore it because I wanted to shorten it and have it dry cleaned, however because I don't want to spend $$$ on dry cleaners a little febreeze will do for now. I also changed my mind about the coat's length once I wore it, I think it looks great. I added my own belt because sadly it's belt was missing.
Oh and yes I went back to Anthropologie and got the skirt in a different color, it's perfect, if they had it in black I would buy it too.
Outfit Details:
Shirt: thrifted (I shortened the sleeves)
Skirt: Anthropologie
Shoes: thrifted
Vintage coat: thrifted
Vintage belt: Estate sale

A-ha! You put your style inspiration (from yesterday) into action.
I've had my eyes on a few things at Anthropologie and you've inspired me to bite the bullet and make the purchase!
This coat is too amazing. I am so in love with vintage coats; I have about 6-8, but I lack the space to get more. Plus, one of my goals is to condense my wardrobe!

oooooh! i ADORE your coat!! the sleeves...the buttons...the belt...the color. LOVE IT.
Love the new coat!! the should details are adorable, the fur collar, and your belt is the perfect touch. what a wonderful find!!
Thank you ladies, I do agree the shoulders are amazing, even though it was a bit pricey for a thrift store I knew I had to have it. =)
The color combination is so pretty. The skirt comes out slightly green imo in the picture but that would look amazing too: pale pink and reed green.
You are right Katarine it does look a but green. =) Well actually the color says it's supposed to be khaki but in real life it looks more like gray hehe =D
Love the collar on the coat!
so cute! that coat is seriously amazing!!
I used to think that dry cleaning is expensive too, so avoided it like the plague. Although, try to find some dry cleaners that are advertised to be around $1.99-$4. It's worth it to clean a good coat! Even after dry cleaning my 60s fur coat though, I still had to fabreeze it several times because it stunk so bad. It was a gorgeous coat, but I got it only for $10 because of the old people smell! I got rid of it though, so I'm proud to wear it all clean now :)
Hope you had a Merry Christmas, and that you didn't feel too pressured to give whatever to your fellow teachers! I think it's sometimes good to be pressured especially if that's what it takes to push you to do something good :) We just have to change our hearts and actually make it meaningful.
That coat is amazing!!!!
I love the Anthro Field skirt too, I am hoping to pick it up in Mustard next month.
I love the muted color palette of your outfit! The coat is absolutely lovely :)
