Getting ready for Christmas

I've been trying to maintain my sanity with a 10-yo boy who still doesn't know that I already have his Christmas present, he keeps asking whether I'm going to make my trip to the store and he promises he won't peek once the present is warpped under the tree, he already made a list, he's the funniest kid.
Everything is old except the vintage brooch which I bought at the flea market last week.
Outfit Details:
Cashmere sweater: thrifted
Shirt: thrifted
Skirt: Kohls
Socks: TJ Maxx
Shoes: DSW
Brooch: Vintage
Have a Merry Christmas!

Don't you love it when you find cashmere sweaters at thrift stores? *Happy Dance*

I understand how you feel; my parents raised us the same way. Unfortunately, I was a bossy child and scoffed at my peers/friends that truly believed in Santa Clause. My parents had to remind me to respect the views of others. These days I only entertain the thought of Santa Clause if my students mention it.

What did you end up getting your son for Christmas? I'm sure he will be VERY surprised. hahaha Kids are so funny!!

Dear Shey,
I wish you a gorgeous Christmas day.I hope you enjoy being with your family and that you will have a peaceful day.
I think you're actually celebrating on the 25th,don't you? Here in Germany,we're celebrating in the evening of 24th.
So I'll just say Merry Christmas in advance.I hope you'll post some pictures.Always excited to see how Americans do different things, like celebrating Christmas or Thanksgiving.
May you and your son have a very blessed day.
P.S.Those socks are stunning!
