Today I feel as thought I had walked out of the 50's. This skirt was one of my finds Friday, as usual it was very small on the waist and had a few tears, nothing this savvy refashionista could not fix. I forgot to take a before picture of the skirt, the wool jacket is vintage too, very warm and cozy when I bought it I knew it would look perfect belted. I am still looking for the perfect black circle skirt and the perfect grandpa cardigan, I hope I find them!
Outfit Details:
Shirt: thrifted /I added a rhinestone detail around the neckline.
Skirt: vintage/ altered by me
Belts: thrifted
Jacket: Vintage
Shoes: Old Navy (old)
Bag: vintage / garage sale

Merry Sunday! I finally posted to my blog! YAY!
I hope all is well. I'm playing blog catch up this week. While I haven't commented as often as I would like to (on your blog), I'm still reading!

Love the jacket!
Happy Halloween!
Thanks ladies, guess what! I got a great grandpa cardigan! Can you guess where? in the men's departemtn at the thrift store.
congrats on the grandpa cardy! And yes, still loving those shoes and jacket. Looks so warm.
The men's department at the thrift stores always have hidden treasures, as far as I'm concerned. :)
Love that skirt!
I'd love to see a tutorial on how to make the waistband bigger. I often have that problem with vintage skirts that I want to buy and I'd love to know how to fix it.
You always look amazing. I would have never thought that went together. You rocked it though.
That wool jacket is gorgeous, love the plaid.

Love the mix of plaids here! I think the mix makes the look modern, even if it is 50s inspired.
I love that skirt!
