Hi ladies, hope you had a wonderful Sunday! Today after church my son and I had lunch at the Pancake House, I love greasy food: french fries, buttermilk pancakes, bacon, gravy, bisquits and all those yummy things, but I can't help to think about how all that yummy food keeps clogging up my arteries and raises my already very high cholesterol. Anyways this is what I wore to church today.

ok i hope this isn't TMI but i find if i don't excercise and eat badly just before "ladytime"...i will be stuck at home for a full day on the couch with the most awful water retention causing aches. As if someone has punched my back and stomach into oblivion. that skirt looks sublime on you.
Teeny I think that's whats also happening to me, I've excercised but I've been eating bad, very bad and on top of water retention my hands feel swollen when I'm asleep it wakes me up constantly, I think I must get back to my regular healthy low-cholesterol diet asap before more discomfort starts.
I regularly follow a low carb diet. I try to stay away from processed foods. I think the key is moderation. You had a couple of fun food days, just cut back over the next week. Drink lots of water and step up some exercise. I am marketing manager for a large gym in my town and have worked in the weight loss industry for many years. I always suggest to people to make small changes, and don't try to give up everything! On another note, you've really inspired me to jump into the refashioning thing! Thanks! Serene
You look beautiful in that. LOVE it! Love those boots. Who needs those other ones you want when you have those ones? LOVE them! :)
I am not on a special diet but I desperately need one. So depressed lately : (
My son wants to go to IHOP so badly. There isn't one too close to us, so I keep putting it off. Maybe soon : )
You look great. Sometimes bad food is necessary food. Don't kick yourself too much just get back on track.

I love your skirt, the print is just so cute!
and the boots, just gorgeous - seriously, I need your thrift stores in my town.
you look lovely. i'm sure you had a wonderful day. i love that scarf!! it is so feminine and pretty.
and just so you know i ate at least a dozen oatmeal raisin cookies tonight. back to normal tomorrow though!! ahhaha.
Love your scarf!
I like your ruffled shirt and the skirt! This looks like such a fall outfit with those boots, too!
Oh gosh. I LOVE pancakes and greasy food! My husband and I made a decision to not eat dessert, so it's been really helpful in losing or maintaining our weight. We don't cut back on anything else but dessert and bleached flour. As much as possible, we eat sugar-free food and wheat products. It's been really great for us!! We haven't had time to exercise to be honest, but we've not been gaining weight with our diet no matter how much greasy food we eat everyday.
I don't do any special diets, but I have been trying to be better about portion sizes. I have some serious self control for most things in my life, but food is NOT one of them. I figure I won't cut anything out, I just have to be responsible enough to eat in moderation. Usually, it works.
Also, that skirt is so beautiful, and I love your scarf.
Well "diet" certainly has a bad connotation, but whether we have a good diet or a bad diet everyone has a diet, diet is the food we eat, so when I mean my diet I don't mean lettuce and water, the issue with me is not even the weight as I've stopped caring so much about it with age, the issue is trully my health, that's why I was asking if anyone has a especial diet for a certain health condition, mine is high cholesterol (tryglicerides) so high I was almost put on medication for it but my doctor thought I was too young (this was 3 -4 years ago) so I went on a healthier diet and excersice and I did manage to loose weight, however my cholesterol still stood in it's ground, come to find out that my father has high cholesterol and well it's a heredetary disease. It's like a silent killer because it doesn't hurt you so that you feel pain, but it's been making me feel tired and my hands getting swollen at night is not a good thing. That's what I'm worried about. I appreciate all your tips ladies for getting back to eating healthy!
=D Today I did good.
such a gorgeous outfit. i struggle with eating right too, mostly because i don't make the time to prepare healthy meals. i'd love to hear of any solutions you come up with.:)
I love that skirt and those boots are so fall, perfect!
I've been a yo-yo dieter since high school. This year, I decided to go to the gym 5 days a week and eat healthful foods. I don't always make it to the gym, and the last 2 months have been not-so-good on the healthful food side. But, I think the key is to wake up each morning ready to start again. It's tough, though, and it's one reason I started a blog.
