My friend at work told me I look better with pencil skirts, I know full skirts are hard to pull off, I've read that they are not very flattering for my body shape...but I love them and I can't get enough of them even if they make my hips look bigger. Pencil skirts on the other hand are hard for me to wear, every time I wear them I'm self-conscious about not having curves, a small waist to be more precise, although pencil skirts are more slimming I feel it shows off how rectangular and waist-less I am, I also have a tummy and it's hard to remember to suck it in all day.

I have to say that you look AMAZING in this outfit. It looks like something I would wear. ;) We switched our usual skirt silhouettes today. Also, I don't think those shoes shorten your legs at all.

I totally agree with you about the comfort but maybe it will be worth it from time to time as you look indeed stunning. And as you have very slim legs from what I can tell from the pictures, I think it's no problem to wear them with flats at all. I mean, working with little children can require a lot of running around so it's good if an outfit hast still some practicality.

I have short legs, but I LOVE pencil skirts! I just wear them high-waisted. That usually does the trick! I adore this outfit :) Very pretty!
