Heading to the lake

Well ladies, one of the things I dislike the most is being outside when it's over a 100 degrees, but the boy (no, really the boy my son) wants to go swimming and I don't want to spend another day in the house. So we are going to the lake. I'm taking plenty of books, water to drink, snacks, sunscreen, umbrella, and comfy cotton clothes. Three more weeks and I'll be going bakc to work!
Outfit Details:
Skirt/ shirt/ sandals: thrifted
Vintage hat: garage sale
Cardigan: Gap

You look adorable! How old is the boy. Show me his picture. I LOVE kids : ) Even more than pretty clothes! I have to admit your clothes are pretty spectacular though! I hope you have a great day at the lake. And if it is over 100 degrees, for goodness sakes, TAKE YOUR SWEATER OFF! XO : )

Pretty and sweet! Perhaps you should take photos at the lake! I wore a similar hat last weekend. I love it and got it thrifted for $3!

Thanks ladies, I did take my sweater off! My son had a blast, I...well I'm not a water person and there was so much sitting my rear end could take, but my son was happy and that is all that was important. I wore my bathing suit but just managed to stick my feet in the water and then I went off to my towel to read my book.

I love the way you have two plaids going on and it works so amazingly well. I'm not an outdoors person, either, but I do love the water. It's good that your son had fun, though!

Aw! You look like one of those Italian guys on the gondola. Ok. Wait. You don't look like a guy. The hat reminds me of the hats THEY wear. LOL

I'm glad your son had a good time. How old is he?

Moi non plus je n'aime pas sortir lorsqu'il fait trop chaud dehors, je préfère rester à l'intérieur dans ces cas là :)
Et ta tenues est vraiment très jolie !
