Hi lovely ladies! Today I bring you a refashion I did on this red dress. When I bought it I loved the bright red color, I put in in my refashion basket and it stayed there for over a year! Well a few days ago I finally got to work on it because I want to clean up my refashion basket before the summer break is over.
I forgot to do a tutorial on how I did it! Sorry ladies, but this skirt is so easy to make, Mrs. Gertie has the best tutorials for vintage clothes and sewing, I lover to pieces and gues what? She has a tutorial for the full skirt! Click here to check it out! Okay now let's go on with the pictures.

I love the brilliant red color! It suits you very well! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love this refashion! And super cute shoes!
I liked the top of that dress, though... but a girl definitely needs to have a bright red skirt! I got mine thrifting, too.
oh, it is so much nicer as a skirt. I bet it will get alot of use. I like the sandals too - very feminine. I'm thinking about making my self a pink skirt too. At some point.
You look absolutely fabulous! This is seriously the perfect red skirt, I'm heading over to Mrs. Gertie's website right now to see what other little projects she has up!

Wish I were so talented. I can sew a button back on, that is about it. The skirt is great and you look wonderful in red!
Thank you ladies!
=D
I didn't find any goods at the thrift store, I got there late, but still I got to rock my little red skirt. =)
I love to see these transformations. Now that I've learned to sew a seam (that was a big step for me), I have big plans to make a simple skirt out of a thrifted sheet this week. Someday, I'll be able to make a skirt from a dress... We'll see. ;)
Great skirt! I'm loving skirts with buttons down the front at the moment. The top of that dress is nice too - do you have enough left to make a blouse?
I love this transformation. I wish I was as sewing savvy as you! The bag is also really cute as well.
It's very beautiful now !! :)
j'adore la 2eme tenue,la chemise est trop belle

I need a red skirt. And a pink one... have to put it on the list.
Chic on the Cheap
Ok. That's it. I've gotta get you on MoMoMod to do a tutorial. What do you say? I've gotta pray through over my jealousy right now.
Like Lyddie I'm adding pink skirt to my shopping list!
Thank you! I didn't have anough material to do a top because I had to cut extra to make a waistband.
I love this red skirt! All your refashions are great and very inspiring!
