Today I'm having some friends from church over for lunch, I can't cook that well and these ladies are awesome cooks, so I will have to cheat and buy something already made that I can put in the oven and take the credit for ;) I'm sure they rather have that than anything I cook.

Me too i don't know to cook ! ;)
And I love your outfit, it's my favourite !
Hehe, sneaky sneaky!
You should just tell the ladies that if they bring the food, you'll take care of the drinks!
Love your cute nautical look, the scarf is so adorable!!
Chic on the Cheap
Too cute! I'm wearing a similar outfit today - great minds think alike! ;)
Oh! I love your shoes! And your bag.. and your top too! :) Hehe.. I love the nautical look, its very pretty!
I love the striped shoesies :)
Thank you all! Lyddie you are very smart my dear, next time I shall try that hehe there's some delicious non-alcoholic drinks I could probably whip. I had to buy the shoes one time that I could no longer walk in my heels while thrifting after church, they are very comfy.
Today on the menu, Turkey & Spinach Lasagna from Sam's and for dessert cheesecake!
well maybe you aren't the best cook, but you sure do know how to dress well, and that will distract your guests from the pre-bought food :) i love the striped top with the little red scarf! so cute.
and i am the same way with cooking- my BFF is a pastry chef, and i struggle to make even the simplest things. oh well. ~joelle
oh that's the worst pressure when the guest are asweome cooks, my food didn't come out so tasty, but thank God no one complained =P
You look adorable : )
I am a terrible cook : (
Take out menus, a whole platter of Italian food-cheap cheap cheap! Its up to you to decide to let them know if you made it or not.
Love the nautical look.
I am so delighted to see all your updates! I just so slow with them! I have lots of catching up to do!! Love the scarf and the b&w stripes, mademoiselle :) Thank you so much for your encouraging comments. Bless you!
hah,I would love to see what you cooked.I imagined you to be a passionate cook because it is so female and I would imagine you with a pretty apron having many pots with different things in them and cooking the most delicious meals. But it's not bad not to be a good cook.No matter what I cook, everything scorches, yesterday it was the meat for the Enchiladas!I would love to see your grandma's Enchiladas recipe SO much! What an honor. Is it spicy?I believe the spice mix was adapted to the European palate that's quite sensitive to things like chili.
It's sad how there's no green left. But I remember seeing your garden in some of your photos,is there no green grass left?
Thank you for asking,I feel better and better again.I've had quite the dark, uninpsiring, empty time but now I take more time to do 'slow' things all alone and that is a wonderful therapy and makes me feel so alive and happy. How are you and your son?
Haha,I was laughing loudly when I read the story about your mother,but...ah,I know that so well.My grandma is toootally like that! After a while I can't help but saying 'mhh' every few seconds but I don't listen anymore, hihi.
mmm, I like the stripes in the shoes with the stripes in your shirt. And the skirt with lace is lovely, a touch of feminine with the denim.
So chic, I love the Parisian look of it all!
WOOHOO! I'm a sucker for a nautical look. While thrifting yesterday I came across a striped shirt, but it was too small. BOO.
You're going to have to post on a tutorial on how to alter/hem skirts!
Chandra
OBSESSED!!! This look is nautical chic all the way and you are owning it!!!
