Hi there pretty ladies, I hope you all are keeping cool! Yesterday it was 101 Fahrenheit, pretty hot! Today it's going to be pretty much the same so I'm trying to stay as cool as I can, drinking lots of water, keeping the hair up and wearing fabrics that are breathable, cotton and linen are the best fabrics, nylon is another good option and from what I read polyester is the worst. Today I'm wearing a linen shirt and a cotton skirt.
I really like today's outfit, I love my "Minnie Mouse" skirt as my students called it but it's kind of hard to style it without looking like Minnie Mouse...
The belt has a turtle buckle, it's missing a stone but one of these days I'll replace it.

Chic on the Cheap
Ooh, I love the colors you're wearing! I now feel like going thrifting for a red skirt...would you believe that I don't own a red skirt? Right now it sounds more practical than a black skirt!
Feel free to link to my blog- I'm honored, really! It's great "meeting" other fashion bloggers who believe in modesty!
Hi! I found your blog through Virtous Girlhood. I reeeeally like it! god bless
Beautiful belt and shoes. I have a weakness for espadrilles and yours are fantastic! The whole look is great, actually.
great, great, great.you look SO good!On your blog I read that it's good to wear linen when it's hot,I will try it as soon as I can.
Good advises you have!
Just one more thing:how do you manage to let your legs look so shiny everyday? You never seem to have to shave them.I am curious (:
your shoes are lovely! Ugh, finding clothes to suit hot weather is difficult, but you're right, linen is great1
Ah... I actually found a pair of espadrilles at the thrift store the other day, but they were just half a size smaller! Just half a size. They fit, but they were a little tight. I knew I couldn't wear them long enough to be comfortable :-(
Cute Minnie Mouse skirt :)
